an early start as always and the handing over of Black Magics kit and tariler key to Dave Collins at Bala S.C
after a long chat Rob H said he was doing mooring work so i asked if i could join him, so off we went in tthe o boat into a breezy wind.
we checked a few moorings taking chains off taking bouys checking shackles
then we went to my new mooring #18, it wasnt where i thought it was so good job i went with Rob, it had plenty of chain and 2 extra bouys, we took the biggest off and attached my setup to the chain off the sinker , Rob then showed me how to properly monel wire the shackle. so now i have 2 pickup bouys lol
then we went on to Stellas boat and shortened the chain with a snubber rope.
back to the club and then into have a warming coffe with Dave C , It was onto see Les and look at his boatand gleam a few ideas
hopefully my kit i ordered will ariive early week and then go back up thursday and moove the boat
