after seeing the picture of the cockpit covered in leaves and water today i went upto BaLA and met with "Sailing with Dave"
an early start 0630 frost on the ground and -1 the other side of Corris
lake was shorouded in mist till just before 11am
plans altered slightly because it was so cold we didnt go on the green rib to be safety for daves mirror repair test
as his bearing was playing up so he turned around and came on his own
aftera long catch up about boats we strapped the boat down then started cleaning
what a difference it made
Dave had a good scout around the baot as well as hes hunting for a cabin cruiser for sea sailing as well
after a few chinwags and enjoying the sun dave headed home and i finished off bimbling around with mr elbow grease to make Aguila clean
still some todo but that can be done next time
hopefully sort this week
Todays project was to install my Garmin striker 4c gps unit onto a portable box with the 12v 7ah battery inside , i watched this on youtube and bought the box which was about £13
i think the one he used was bigger , but this seems fine , more stuff can be added to it latter like 12v display and hook a solar panel to charge it etc

but just incase
from ebay around £20
been testing a cam at home all over the summer to see how it performs
good for security so i have now bought another to actually gon on the boat
with a simcard for a years worth of dat for £60 for 120gb of data
i can then see the gap entrance and state of the tide at any time of the day as it has night vision as awell
also if anything is on the boat it will alert with messsages and pictures
